The frame adds a lot to the attractiveness of a calendar on a wall. It holds large wall calendars measuring 34cm X 61cm. You just slide the calendar into the slots at the back of the frame - changing it only 12 times a year. One small nail or screw is all you need. These are best for that one glance that tells you what day of the month it is. It would not be wise to buy a frame like this, if you use this size of calendar to record all your appointments and engagements, birthdates, anniversaries and the such. But! If you keep all that info on your more personal and smaller carry with calendar or appointment book then this frame will do the job of enhancing your beautiful calendar. A good buy.
